We started the Napa Valley
Lavender Co. in 1999 after Jennifer was diagnosed with Chronic Fatigue
(CFIDS). After trying many different remedies and treatments, she
found that (among other things) lavender helped get rid of her symptoms
of being foggy or groggy for two or three days at a time. After trying
many different products, Jennifer realized that not all lavender products
are made with true lavender, that many add lavender "fragrance"
(or none at all) and still call it a "lavender aromatherapy product."
Becoming very frustrated, we decided to grow some lavender of our
own to get our own essential oil. While waiting for the plants to
mature, we started making lavender products. We now offer our products
in various stores, hotels, and spas across the country.
Our goal is to offer high quality lavender products that represent
our impressions of the Napa Valley. We want to offer products that
allow you and your customers to enjoy the relaxation, romance, and
beauty that the Napa Valley has to offer.

We believe in giving back to the community. We want the business
to be more than just about making money. We want it to be personal
and we want to make a difference, because of the difference that
lavender has made in Jennifer's health.
We believe in using recycled shipping materials whenever we can.
We are always looking for a new
way to minimize our impact on the environment and support the Napa
Valley. We want to offer you high-quality, healthy products, that
are kind to the earth, as well.
We support our local economy and use California-based artists and
seamstresses to paint and sew our products. We work in concert with
other Napa Valley businesses to develop new products to bring to
you and your customers.
